What cookies do we use?
This table documents storage used in the main platform (app.sevenlayers.io). The one-of-one landing pages do not set optional analytics cookies.

Essential vs optional cookies
Essential cookies (session/auth and consent storage) are required for secure operation and consent documentation. These cannot be disabled while using authenticated services.
Analytics cookies Optional analytics storage is disabled by default and only activates after explicit opt-in in the main app.
What happens when you accept or decline?
- Accept: Optional analytics storage may start for product metrics. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.
- Decline: Optional analytics stays disabled. Only essential/functional storage remains active for service operation and consent evidence.
How to manage cookies
- Use the cookie notice when prompted in the main app
- Open the same Legal & Cookies controls in the main app at any time to change or withdraw consent
- Clear browser cookies/local storage at any time to reset preferences
- Use your browser's built-in cookie settings to block storage entirely (this may limit functionality)
Third-party services
Where enabled, optional analytics is provided via PostHog under a processor agreement. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting services. If processors change, this policy and the privacy processor list are updated before rollout.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when storage behavior changes. Material updates are versioned and, where required, trigger a fresh consent decision.
